Re: Is this one PD? |
It appears that Alpha Video doesn't sell it.
Who decides what is a valid alternate title?
If the copyright holder changed the title to Winning The West,
can't he also change it to The Light Of Western Skies?

Re: Is this one PD? |
One supposes, but the TV print I have (by a company called Unity) wasn't put out by the studio but has the studio's copyright, just the wrong year on it. I don't see why the studio would change the title slightly as then it makes no sense in the film and would no longer fit the Zane Grey story it was taken from. I don't have a clue why it was changed for television to such a generic title.
Someone sells it but Alpha doesn't, which is the reason I came here to ask. I don't trust a film to be PD if one of the reliable PD sellers doesn't sell it.
